How Is Your Present and Future Health?

Nobody knows the future, but we do all know that what we do today affects our future.  In health terms this is a valuable opportunity to invest for the best by being aware of what constitutes serious risk and helping ourselves to positive measures that optimise strong, resilient health.  Health Awareness Days in June include Alzheimer’s and Dementia.  This type of condition along with type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, respiratory disease and cancer is commonplace in the UK.

Inflammation in the body is a normal, healthy and essential response to certain stimuli.  However, when inflammation is unrelenting and sustained rather than targeted and modulated it can be harmful in many different ways.  The common Western diseases listed above go through stages of progression as they develop, and sustained inflammation is a common feature.  Sometimes illnesses and disease have genetic and hereditary factors, but still there are many things that we can do to promote a healthy, modulated inflammatory response and reduce our risk of serious health issues.  Ask yourself…”Is my health optimum?”  “Do I have a health issue that is progressively worsening or requiring ever more medication and limiting the things I want to do?”

As a Kinesiologist I see people who want to improve or optimise their wellness and enjoy life without limitations imposed by health issues.  I find stresses (imbalances) in the body by testing muscles.  Chronic inflammation is a common finding and approaching it in this way offers many advantages; improving all aspects of health.

I am currently offering telephone consultations without charge or obligation so if you would like to know more contact me through the website.
